Fun City Pakistan entertains the Capital by hosting a meet and greet for Parchi.

The cast of an upcoming film Parchi spent the evening at Fun City Pakistan at Giga Mall on 28th December 2017 and 29th December 2017 at Fun City Centaurus Mall, where they greeted the fans, took photos, signed autographs and enjoyed an hour of interaction with them.

The film will be released on 5th Januar 2018. Director Azfar Jafferi, Producer Imran Kazmi with the cast members Ali Rehman Khan, Hareem Farooq, Usman Mukhtar, Ahmed Ali and Shafqat Khan attended this special meet and greet.

‘Parchi’ set to release on 5th January 2018

[Karachi, December 2nd, 2017]: Parchi, the latest offering by ARY Films, had created a lot of anticipation with its intense teaser and the audiences had been waiting for the official trailer to be released. It has officially been released on December 2nd, 2017 with a special screening at Neuplex Cinemas, and it has taken the excitement a notch-higher.

The trailer is action-packed with the right amount of comedy and flawless dance moves. The fun-filled trailer is a treat to watch keeping the viewers engaged during its entire length. The story revolves around the ‘Parchi’ system in Pakistan – local gangsters issuing parchi to businesses to ask them for money. The sensitive topic has been touched without any serious undertones so that people can understand and enjoy the movie.

The movie has a talented star-cast which includes names like Hareem Farooq, Ali Rehman Khan, Usman Mukhtar, Ahmed Ali Akhbar and Shafqat Khan. The story has been written by Shafqat Khan, who has already made his mark as a theatre play writer, and directed by Azfar Jafri, who also directed IRK Films previous movie, Janaan.

“Our vision was to make a movie on a unique concept that has all the essential elements in it. Parchi has comedy, action, music and a pinch of romance which makes it a complete package,” stated Imran Raza Kazmi, the producer of the movie.

“After receiving such an overwhelming response to the trailer, I can’t wait for the audiences to see the movie. I have done a very different character in this movie and I loving the feedback so far,” stated, Hareem Farooq, the co-producer of Parchi.

“The entire team of Parchi has worked really hard to make Parchi possible. The dedication and hard work of the entire team can be seen in the trailer itself. We hope the audiences enjoy the movie,” shared Arif Lakhani, the third co-producer of the movie.

Jerjees Seja, CEO ARY Digital Network and Co-Producer said, “ARY Films has always believed in the movies released under its banner. We have high expectations from Parchi as it not only has an amazing cast but an excellent director and story-line.”

The movie is slated to release on 5th January 2018.

[Islamabad, 15th August 2017]: People were seen holding their breath as Peak Freans Sooper attempted to break the World Record for the ‘Largest Cookie Mosaic’ on 14th August 2017.

Peek Freans Sooper, the Nation’s favourite cookie launched the patriotic campaign titled #SooperHaiPakistan across the nation. As part of the campaign, they attempted to make the world’s largest flag made out of Sooper cookies on this 70th Independence Day.

Hareem Farooq joins ‘Miss Veet Pakistan’ as Judge

[Karachi – Saturday 8th July 2017] Award winning actress & producer Hareem Farooq has joined Pakistan’s biggest reality show ‘Miss Veet Pakistan’ as a judge for this season. This takes her association with the brand forward from earlier this year when she was signed on as one of the five mentors of Veet Academy – an online grooming platform for young girls.

“I am honored and thrilled to be the judge on Miss Veet Pakistan and for continuing my association with Veet Pakistan,” said Farooq

“I always believe a woman should be comfortable in her own skin, being confident and being grateful for what you have & I now want to bring forth this amazing opportunity to the girls who dream big, who dare to break stereotypes and compete to be the next Miss Veet Pakistan with my fellow judges.” she further added.

The gorgeous and multi-talented actress Hareem Farooq, has played lead roles in successful projects like Dobara Phir Se (film), Diyar-e-Dil (TV) and Pawnay Chauda August (theatre), along with taking the backseat to produce 2016’s blockbuster hit Janaan. Hareem, in a short career span, has played a pivotal role in setting trends for the youth to follow, when it comes to personal image and style.

Extremely selective in brands that she works with, Hareem Farooq had earlier this year signed on as Official Local Spokesperson for L’Oréal Professional Pakistan.
